Should I contact these guys about getting the mounts and driveshaft? I am sure we could handle this on our own, but it would save a ton of time.

i would definitely get them to donate, or hook us up if they can. time is definitely of importance here and having the shit ready to install would be so much easier…
yes yes yes
cool, once we find a shell I will give them a call. Any other sponsors we should look into? Jay mentioned using K Sport to build us a set of Drag Coilovers. He is going to be testing their set next weekend.

i’ll draft a spons. letter later tonight
nice thanks sailor…
I just got Hinson Motorsports as a sponsor.
They have donated the following items:
There own prototype Headers
All Necessary Mounts
Driveshaft
Modified Subframe
And they said they can be used as a knowledge resource anytime, they are real big into LS1’s in RX7’s! Brian Hinson is going to fly up for the show as well.
that is awsome.
I was going to get the PayPal account set up for donations. Then we can make a post in the general section of the board.
Maybe create an email address in my Comcast account with some name like PittSpeed_Pinks_Donations@comcast.net?
Or is there some way to set up something in the Pittspeed.com domain? I don’t know how I would check emails that way though. :dunno:
you can send it to donations@pittspeed.com… or i couldsetup pinksdonations@pittspeed.com
pimptastic!!!
that’s awesome…
“pinksdonations” would be a good idea so we can keep it separate from the regular membership donations. I’ll use my bank account for the Paypal account, transfer the donations into the account, then withdraw it in cash for purchases. I assume we want this as a personal account with NO credit card transfers to avoid fees?
I’ll keep track of who donated what amount, and what money is distributed for what purchase. Since Whitey will have access to the emails, that will serve as secondary confirmation of the money coming in.
