Drums were alot cheaper than getting a new master cylinder, discs, pads, etc and figuring out how to hook up an emergency brake and shit like that.
I just slipped on Ranger drums and called it a day. They fit the backing plates and since the shoes were all good no further work and no more parts were needed.

i duno, my mother drivers a ranger and that thing stops quite well. maybe its because i worked on it.
The only things from a Ranger are the drums. The brakes themselves are Mustang parts.
I never had a problem stopping my '87 Ranger that I used to own.
you want 9 grand for a car with drum brakes. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
It came with drums. I upgraded the fronts with '94 spindles, rotors and calipers.
The braking improved quite a bit over the stock '92 shit.
