I have a question for anyone who may know the answer…
My typical monthly bill with 450 minutes, unlimited everything, and insurance is ~$83.xx.
My brother has a huge family plan which he, his wife, my parents are all on and he doesn’t get anywhere near using all of his minutes.
Since I only do like 30 minutes a month (I text mostly), he offered to add me to this plan for $20/month so I can save myself $60+/month.
My question(s) is:
Will he be able to view my PCS PictureMail account? I have a few pictures of my girlfriend that are ‘for my eyes only’ and obviously don’t want them to be accessible to anyone but me.
I’m a Sprint Premier member. If I switch to his plan, do I lose my ‘membership’ (which basically allows me a phone upgrade every year instead of every two years)?
No, he will not be able to see your picture mail, the most he can see is the itemized list which shows that you recieved an MMS message and from that number but wont be able to see the content, same goes for plain old text messaged
Your phone upgrade will still be every 2 years or whatever it is with sprint, but you loose the ability to early upgrade as your phones not the primary account, but if you sweet talk them usualy you can get them to take care of it anyways
As with me, when i got my upgrade to my droid I was 3 months from my upgrade date, if my line was the primary account I coudl ahve walked in the verizon store and they would have done it no issue, but because my line is not the primary I had to call verizon and sweet talk them.
Hmm okay. Thanks Shady. I guess over the course of the year, the money I’d save would be worth if it if I absolutely had to get a new phone before my upgrade date.
