SR Power Steering Bolt Size?

Alright i’ve checked the 2 FSMs I have, and searched, and I can still not find the size of the banjo bolt that attaches the high pressure lines to the pump. This is for a s13 sr power steering pump. Any info would be great thanks

Jim

Hey Jim

i replaced my ps pump sometime back, i remember i had all the right sized sockets to do the job (normal socket set) exept for one, which i had to buy at canadian tire … it was a 24mm, i don’t recal running into any other bolts that i couldn’t remove…

i just took out one powersteering pump and replaced it with another one
hope this helped

Hey thanks, But I need the size of the threaded part, I assume it is a metric bolt so like M12X1.5 or something like that. I know it is bigger than the one for the KA24e pump.

Jim

The bolt is the same as a KA24DE P\S bolt
as for thread pitch thats tough to find…
best bet is to grab the bolt off someone whos got a KA24DE (make sure to get the 2 brass fittings as well) or from a junk yard. and the Hicas bolts from the KA and SR WILL NOT WORK as they are the same size as the KA24E.
