as the topic says, do they interchange? i gave my starter to my friend since my SR wasn’t going to be in for a while and now that it’s almost time, he is looking for one to return the favour

You can get it rebuilt. Its usually about $50 and you wont have any problems for a long long time. Contact Joes Auto Electric.

A $50 starter rebuild would be the best case senario. Ussually expect to pay more, I rebuilt my dads starter a few months back and just replacing the drive and solenoid cost $50!!! And that had no labour cost! So it could very easily be a much more expensive rebuild. However it is often an easy quick job that is cheaper than buying a new one.
^^the guy gave his original away to a friend so he needs a new one. I was looking for one too and found one at JDM source but I went a different route instead so he probably still has a spare starter. He told me it was sittin on the shelf so give him a call. 403-717-4252.
