What is the part number for the SR20DET oil filter?
Are there any filters that are compatible for use on the SR?

I believe the S14 SR20 has a different Filter thou ? ? ?

I’m sure people have asked this question within the thread, but from the search results, it seems like nobody has made a thread dedicated to this topic alone (or at least not recently). THink of it as a reference for future users wanting the same info. Now that I’ve created a thread about this, others can easily look it up without sifting through older threads

That is the Actually Nissan Part # “so you call Nissan” but they keep them instock because that Filter is used on like 50% of their Vehicles :wink:

Okay, I have done the searching and there are as many numbers as there are people answering. s13 and s14 filters don’t seem to be the same. From an Austrailian Silvia site:

s13 generation sr blocks have had this [filter stalk] break-off issue mainly due to the thread size/material, same as b13.
s14 generation sr blocks use bigger diameter piping with different thread, should be same as b14.

P/N 15208 53JOO
Oil filter (S14 SR20DET)- 95 Sentra SE-R
P/N 15208 65FOO

I cannot confirm on the S14 as I do not have a S14 SR20 but I run the 15208-53J00 Filter in my Redtop SR20

All SR20det motors take the same old filter S13/S14/S15 all the same as the NX2000 and like said before alot of nissan motors use the same filter.
