i didnt think that the older vipers were that fast… i believe she said it was a 92’ or something. i thought mid/high 12’s were all they were capable of. Perhaps the motor has some miles on it and compression isnt as high as stock? There are a lot of factors to weigh in before writing it off as a bad driver.

if it was a 92 RT then it had if im not mistaken about 380hp. Which then mid-high 12’s is about accurate. But if it was a GTS with about 450hp…bad driver

yup, i re-read the article… its a 92 RT. If it had been a GTS i would have agreed with you.
There was no GTS Viper 'till '96.
'92 Was the first year of the Viper, it was rated at 400hp.

vipers are over rated for the quartermile. have both of those rides do a topend
run. then see who wins or even do a X-cross event.
