Anyways I dunno if we can keep TO under control we’ll be fine, I think it’ll be a low scoring game but I’m not sure how tough Phillie’s defense is. We should look to run a lot more this week and control the clock with some good play action on 1st down, we don’t throw enough on first down.
It’s gonna be another game won on who has the least amount of penalties and special teams I have a feeling.

i think we’re teh better team, by far… but our main weakness is their strength… a star WR vs our CBs. normailly you could isolate him and just blitz like nuts (since they have no runnning game) while teh entire secondary wathches him like a hawk, except mcnabb can run. if they can keep mcnabb in the pocket then they will own the eegles

I would pay money to see TO shot. I can’t stand that motherfucker… He is everything that I try to teach my two little cousins to not do, and he is everything that I have to deal with on Friday nights with kids thinking that the shit he does on Sundays is okay to do on Fridays.
He needs to play the game with more humility, ALOT more. I never thought I’d hate someone more than Michael Irvin or Deion Sanders, but TO is 5 times worse than both of them.

as for playing against people liked him in HS, i liked that too! i loved shutting them down when i could. i guess im just used to it. i spent my entire HS football career covering joe slappy. go figure. 
TO might be cocky, arrogant and whatever else youd like to call him but hes still one of the best WR in the game. you cant deny that. on sunday when he goes to work he makes plays.

BTW: I only had a division I scholarship offer to Kick for Texas, but I was young and dumb and wanted to keep playing strong safety, so I went to a small school… I only ran a 4.7 40, which wasn’t fast enough.

look i dont give a fuck what terrell owens does or says off the field. he is an entertaining player to watch on sundays but you know what all that talk off the field does for him?? it keeps the spotlight on him. he just wants the attention which media and fans alike give him. as much as i like him i still want to see the steelers hit him and make him pay for catching the ball.

i dont think hes “cool” for doing the things he does. hes plays the game well and backs his mouth up. unlike joe horn who catches a few touchdowns and does stupid shit along with a few others. i agree high school and college is better to watch but you still have the cocky arrogant assholes. i played my entire HS career with one on my team.
BTW: since we are throwing facts around. i wasnt good enough or big enough to get a scholarship from any D1 schools. i was surrounded by superstars so it was hard to shine period. i had a bunch of local small schools invite me to tour their campus and ask me to play ball for them which i declined all of because i knew football wasnt the right path for me.
i’m w/ twoforty on this. i like T.O also. i think hes funny, and i think he is awesome. T.O. is, by no means, my favorite player. certain things he’s done has kinda pissed me off, but he makes me laugh though. and also, i respect him as a player. alot of my favorite players have a flamboyant personality…its just more fun for me to follow a player w/ character. some of my favorite players like this are Jeremy Shockey, Burress, Troy Edwards, Randy Moss. those guys all have pissed alot of people off, but i think they r fun to watch.

You are playing a sport, act with some class instead of trying to rub things in people’s faces. Although the pompom idea was pretty cool and interesting I don’t like the fact of immitating other players or “spiking the star”, that’s “taunting” and taunting is not good for the game at all. I have no problem with endzone celebrations but when they turn into taunting, that’s another thing all together.
Eventually he’ll ruin it for everyone else with his continued antics and trying to take it to a new level to the point where they just ban celebrations again.
