You are playing a sport, act with some class instead of trying to rub things in people’s faces. Although the pompom idea was pretty cool and interesting I don’t like the fact of immitating other players or “spiking the star”, that’s “taunting” and taunting is not good for the game at all. I have no problem with endzone celebrations but when they turn into taunting, that’s another thing all together.

Eventually he’ll ruin it for everyone else with his continued antics and trying to take it to a new level to the point where they just ban celebrations again.

i agree that he goes overboard here and there. he will eventually do something completely over the top and stupid.

heres a thought, if the opposing team stops him from catching the ball and scoring then there wont be any celebrations but then if a teams focus is just him then the open up a bunch of oppurtunities for other players. his attitude works well for him and the team he plays for.

BTW, since when did it become ok to celebrate a first down, TO isn’t just guilty here but god damn do your job get up and go back to the huddle, no need for a celebration for the first down…

ill agree that sportsmanship is lacking in the NFL compared to years before but i think that its that way in most sports now not just football.

thank you for putting words in my mouth! i dont care if terrell owens hates white people. i dont care what the fuck he does outside of football. hes an entertaining FOOTBALL player to me. i have no urge to meet him or be his friend.

so on sportscenter this morning they had a little report about duce. they claim he is the reason the steelers and big ben are doing so well. at first i was like no i dont think so. after thinking about it im def. changing my mind. duce has quietly averaged 112 yds a game. thoughts?

All I can say is, Larry Fitzgerald plays the game right. IN a couple of years, hell be twice the reciever TO is, and everytime he scores a touchdown, he’ll hand the ball to the official like a man and walk off the field to celebrate with his teammates. Thats the way it should be.

Those are two of the biggest lies I think I’ve ever heard. He absolutely does NOT run precision routes. He doesnt run routes that require precision, first of all, he runs deep.

And his hands are average at the very best. He doesn’t have the hands of a Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss, hell, he doesnt have the hands of Joe Delsardo… Now there is a WR with some fuckin hands.

Fitzgerald is one of my favorite players also. i agree, you have to respect his attitude and work ethic. however, you simply can’t say that he’ll be twice the reciever Owens is. there isn’t anyone playing right now that is twice the reciever Owens is. look at the numbers. Larry isnt even close to being at Owens level of play…so until he can even post comparable numbers…your statement is nothing more than speculation…which is worthless
