When i was watching the game, i thought it was an awful idea to score w/ 1.5 mins left too… Bad decision, but… i think the steelers played almost the entire game like they were tired… they got pushed around up front on defense, and i can’t remember the last time the o-line got dominated like that… Ben constantly had ppl in his face…
I hate the announcers! they were lickin the patriots’ asshole… all this shit about how great the pats played… if the steelers would have played even close to their potential, that game would have ended up different!
Poor coaching at the end yes, but it comes down to the players not doing what they should have…
And also, to show how bad the steelers played… if it weren’t for ex-steeler Chad Scott fucking up the way he did in Steel-town for years, they would have never scored that TD… they would have turned it over on downs, and the score wouldnt have been near as close… everyone played awful

it’s not like that game wasn’t the two tops teams playing… it came down to a field goal from the best kicker out… he completed 14 of 14 in the 4th quarter or some shit… it was a shitty game all around… no big deal… i’d rather lose now than lose int he afc championship

cowher is not bad, by no means is he bad, aslo we went against prob. the 2nd best coach in the league

I’m not saying Cowher is the best in the league, but he has done very well. The Steelers are almost always contenders, and not because we have superstars like Randy Moss or Peyton Manning, but because in most positions we have insane depth… I don’t know how much of that can be attributed to coaching, but look at our running back situation.
to be honest alot of those steeler teams that went far into the playoffs werent as good as it seemed. i think cowher had them over-achieving. so u cant just say ‘well we had a superbowl team and didnt make it cause cowher sucks as a coach.’ and u cant use last year as a counter-example cause we were good enough to go but ben was a rookie and you combine that and the fact that the Pats were prob better and were too complex for Ben to figure out and that =loss. not cowhers fault.

lol… look at it from a business point of view:
- The Steelers sell out every game, don’t they?
- That must mean their product is in demand.
- Cowher shoulders much of the responsibility for that product, fair or no, so…
- Cowher should get some of the praise for the success that is the Steelers organisation.
Are the Steelers profitable? Then Cowher’s doing his job. The fact that the Steelers are frequently contenders is just a bonus.

all i know is the steelers can’t win a big game. do you blame the players or the coaches. I blame the coaches. Some others blame the players.
it’s just like at my job. If I have 3 pc techs go out and fix something and they fuck it all up, it’s my fault because I did not prepare them for the job well enough. the manager/coach/boss is always to blame for the good and the bad.
