The planning team at NECC has been busy lately coming up with new ways to serve the NECC Members better, whether it be during Meets, Events, or on the forum.

We have come to realize that Technical help is sometimes hard to find or takes a while to get good feedback solutions to a problem, and there are a few issues that constantly keep coming up IE: SR20 Swap, Brake Questions, header installs Etc.

So we are planning on making a few step by step guides with Color pictures and instructions that hopefully will make your next big or small project alot easier. We would like to know what kind of things you guys would like to be able to have a step by step guide on what to do. Remeber this can be for RWD,FWD, or even AWD vehicles. Try to keep things like “How to install AWD on your S13” off the list.

Let us know if you would like to have your next project photographed in order to make a guide of your Modification/Project.

I’m doing ALOT of work on my car so if I think of something I snap shots and post them up. I’m still doing the Z32 brake swap, etc…

i aswell i will post up pictures! but keep the SR Swap and RB swap and ETC swap info to a minimum, u cant give everything away! i say for the SR swap that you should just link to heavy throttle, and if they cant figure out how to wire in ABS or a 5 speed conversion then they shouldnt be doing it! get a reputable shop like autodream to do it cuz if u cant figure it out then ur car will end up there anyways, and they will have to go through the headache of figureing out jsut what u fucked up!

i dunno thats my opinion! i say we provide help…not a step by step guide!

I’ll do a step by step of installing a Walbro fuel pump into a s13(I will be doing this right away, so that’s why I will do that). Can someone host the pix and such for me? I can email you the pix and writeup for you to post or something like that.

For the time being, please use imageshack.us to host pics. They have been pretty reliable. I am trying ot set up a gallery program so we can host everything on our own site to guarantee we’ll never lost the pics. I can save all images on my external hard drive for the time being. :slight_smile:

I as well will be doing a clutch within the next couple weeks, I have a hoist I’ll be using so I’ll be able to get real good shots.

I agree that one Z32 brake swap for the rear is sort of unclear. I will be doing this swap but not for a bit. I’m still focused on the engine and driveline.

I’ll add removing the turbo from an S12, even though it would be mostly swearing and throwing tools. That and the mysteries of removing the r200 diff without also removing half of your skin. That as well will include much swearing and throwing tools. God bless (curse) the S12.
