STM's Drag RS Build! Time to go fast.

This has been a long time coming. STM has had an awesome run for the past 5 years with the blue “Ricer” Evo, but, let’s face it, that car was never a dedicated “drag” car. HID’s, leather, full interior and full glass simply don’t designate a shop car as a real drag car. Still, with an 8.75 and 167 mph trap speeds, the Ricer was showing the world how a 2.0 liter street car gets down!

The next step for the Ricer would be to start cutting… and that is just one of the things our crew simply can’t bring ourselves to do. Anyone who has seen the Ricer in person knows this is a show car. It just happens to be really fast.

So, STM is very excited to announce that it’s time to go balls to the wall and set some records straight with our 2005 Evo RS!

how was ricer not a full built race car??

jesus u guys cut the roof off it, upgraded everything there was to and kept it clean with interior pieces.

Ricer is my kinda drag car w working interior, crazy power and proven ets

It was a drag car, but compared to other shop drag cars… well, it didn’t. Which is what set it apart, too. But to have the chance to cut and gut and properly cage…

This will be interesting.

What are the track/weight goals if you dont mind me asking?

Now Ricer can just be a full-on street brawler. If eight-and-a-quarter ETs are for “show” cars - this next car is going to be just silly.

The mirrors are probably slowing that thing down more than anything. I really don’t know but I am just sayin at 167… :slight_smile:

I like the way you guys think! Ok white car is fast but we’re gonna sell it… Didn’t get what we wanted so we’ll put it back to stock… Nah fuck it, we’ll gut the bitch and make it get some records!!

I believe right now the car is sitting around 2100 pounds. It has a stock motor and FP Red ball-bearing turbo. First on the list is to go re-claim the stock motor record!

Got the interior mostly cleaned up and properly gutted. Single Kirkey seat, Carbon Sparco wheel and an AEM UEGO to decorate the interior!

I think they already have the MPH with cessna’s Evo at like 152 or something on the stock block, but someone else has the ET record at like 9.6 or something like that? I’m sure with the car being this light they will set both records no problem with a FF setup.
