Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out this year! It was an honor to sponsor this second annual event. There were a lot of fast street cars and mega props to everyone who drove to the track, raced and drove home!
And congrats to Timmy, I know he’s talked about a lot as it is, but I was really impressed and a few things were put in perspective when the announcer talked about his mom and dad and that the Nova has been in the family forever, and constantly built, rebuilt and upgraded. You guys have done an awesome job and have always been a huge part of the racing community. Congrats on winning the fastest street car! … and winning the last race against the other car with a 10.54@123 vs 10.55@123 (I think that’s right) but it was damn close and a great race!
All of us at STM had a great time and quite a few of our cars ran 11’s that day…
Chris Cessna: 11.1 @ 127.89 FP Red / 100 octane/ AEM
James M: 11.1 @ 126.31
Scott saw an 11.5 @ 12x (I’ll have to track down his slip) after getting used to his brand new Clutch Masters twin FX600!
Khary ran 11’s all day as usual and he sponsored the event as well with the $100 gift certificates to Living Color Tattoos!
Mike got his E85 powered, 16G, stock motor 1990 talon down to an 11.4 @ 120!! He cut a bad-ass 1.58 60’! Congrats Mike!
Dave is still running consistent mid-11’s on his 2-year old tune.
My camera died about half way through the event… so I missed a lot of things… Mike Cronin was out in his Evo VIII with the wife and kids, Felix showed up in his meticulously groomed Graphite Grey, I saw Brandon with his Electric Blue, Bob Allen in his sexy Black IX, Jed and their dad were with us in the Evo and 350Z, Nate was holding it down with his STi and congrats, Dan… that GSX is hauling ASS!
Stry’s vette was awesome to watch as well!
And Doug’s Bionic Booger wheelie and 3 consecutive 9.06 runs!
And thanks to the Grim Reaper for letting me help pack the parachute… I’m going to ned the practice…
Hopefully next year I’ll bring the GSX,
-Shawna
