So where are you bringing it for repairs?
I get my wife’s 08 Malibu estimated next Wednesday.
Haven’t quite decided yet honestly since I don’t have the deductible just laying around (1K)

I love Hamburg/OP. Only hail came Monday evening. It was minimal and only lasted a minute or two before going back to rain.
x2 - i took a road trip to pittsburgh last weekend…but on the way there a lilttle bit b4 the PA border the sky was black to the left of me, i ended up driving thru it for about 5 min it was raiing so hard i couldnt see 4 ft in front of me a lot of cars on the thru way were all pulled over waiting for it to stop no hail tho…then i drove out of it and it was sunny
Don’t bring it to a place that intends to do the work right then. Just like the mechanic who’s charging $200 more than the other guy, he’s probably going to do it right the first time and do it with quality.
A body shop is going to fix what’s wrong with the body, and assumes you want things fixed, whether it be a panel with 20 dents or just 2.
I just want to remind everyone that we (Swerve Motorsports) are a Dent Wizard location. Honestly, we are probably the cheapest Dent Wizard location in Buffalo. I’m in the process of getting in touch with him to find out if last years pricing is still good but, we were getting $50/dent or $100 for a few dents on the same panel. He worked on Pauls GF’s car last year that had some serious hail damage on the roof and it looks brand new.

Is there a time limit for claims? I don’t know if I should tell them it happened during this storm or the October one…I know I should have back then, but I didn’t know how easy the claims process was.

Had some hail and then I look out my window and saw a lightning bolt explode 50 feet from me.
i was just about to go out jet sking…but that failed cuz of the lighting…ughh waves are pretty big right now too
We had 16 people rowing in the Black rock canal for that one… It was gorgeous out, one black cloud that was moving the other way, so we launch and of course that clouds big brother came out of nowhere and winds went from 0 to 45 in about 5 minutes.
Turned into whitewater rowing pretty quickly - I guess it is very rare that the canal gets whitecaps. It was intense, but we got everyone in safely.
Unreal weather. It’s pissed rain every day since I’ve been back from florida, and I can’t get anything done.
Have to replace basement windows on my house (previous owner must have liked water in the basement and rotted wood)…
