I had a blast. I wanted 9’s soo bad but it just wasnt in the cards I was having so ignition issues it seems. I’m not really welcome back to the track without a cage either

The amount of people sand bagging to run in the slower classes made me sick to call that racing.(like the 2 cars in the 11.50 final…opps did I say that out loud) Decent day, tons of cars broke early on, killing the morning. Had an awesome first race with an orange 1970 440 super bee, lost by .009 at the line. That was one fun race against that car, so cool to be door to door running ALL OUT with a muscle car like that.
It’s not sandbagging…thats how it works when you race classes like that…
Sand bagging will be eliminated next year with half second splits between classes…something we knew we would have. Overall a great turnout and I think everyone had a good time.

Sandbagging? That’s competing! They both have 11.1 cars, so they are not in a class that they could win in, so you slow down. You just have to dial your car back to be competitive in the class that you are in.
