ok, you do realize that’s the worst combination of anything for an autox

you mean like all the Metro-esque cracks I get?
Metro = rebadged Suzuki Swift
Prizm = rebadged Toyota Corolla
they’re made by two different companies, 3500 miles apart, in two different countries. the only part they share is the head unit (which is somewhere in my room). To call a DSM a Chrysler is a hell of a lot more accurate than calling a Prizm a Metro.
oh yeah i forgot to tell you, have you ever heard of kent rafferty? maybe you should do a search…if you think it’s car over driver you’ve never seen the national champ take FTD in a stock s-10

yup because an eclipse is a rebadged…oh wait,chrysler doesnt have anything that remotely resembles the eclipse/talon

autox? i was talking about the track…guess i misunderstood.
i don’t get much of a kick out of driving around cones. the last time i autoxed in Amanda’s car I ran twice and got bored. fastest automatic at the BMW/Mini club meet though.

no, i just don’t autox. i’m sure you’re better at it than i am. i can barely read the cones. i don’t generally practice something i’m not interested in. same reason i don’t know how to rebuild a 454.

it’s an idependently run factory in Fremont, CA called NUMMI.
It made Camaros in the 70s.
It made Corollas + Prizms in the 90s.
Now it makes Toyota cars + trucks.
who do you think makes the dsms chrysler or mitsu…dont’ answer right away, take some time to think about it.

:rolleyes:
i already said i’m not an autoxer. if you want to go to BeaveRun and compare times, fine, but that’s not what i bother with, and i’m not saying i’m any good at it. It holds about as much interest for me as drag racing does.
i’m talking about a track. something similar to real world applications. that’s what holds my interest.
autox is a lot harder than lapping, not only do you ahve to react quicker, but you also have to pay more attention as the course isnt’ mapped out for you like the track is YOU may think ti’s more fun to just jump out on the track and learn there but you’re already behind those with autox experience i hate to tell you.
