I know that lots of people that would say so. I look at it this way: Creating the parts for the hybrid are awful for the environment. (There is a dead zone around the factory that produces parts for the prius that can be seen from space.) Most diesels are more fuel efficient than regular gasoline cars, and creating diesel doesn’t create dead zones visible from space. That and you can create and run bio-diesel in them.

i dont need to back anything up, the car im talking about is super reliable, sells a ton of models, and is the greenest available car out there. The cars you are talking about barely any companies make because of the pollutants they extract. Thats why you dont see any on the road. How is a car that when ran under a certain speed uses no gas, and is a PZEV the rest of the time worse than a diesel vehicle?
If you knew anything about this factory you are talking about you would know that the pollution that ruined the wildlife surrounding it occured WELL before the Prius was ever made. 30 years ago that pollution damage had occured, Since then the factory has reduced its emissions by 90% and has won a shitload of awards for doing so.
I know the lady in the prius owner tailgating me got some diesel pollution in her face.
