I read another article that compared the corolla to the prius… they calculated it all out and you’d have to drive something like 300,000 miles (or some absurd number) to offset the huge increase in sticker price. Great idea! Lets spend 8K extra on a car that gets 10mpg more… fools!

i briefly heard something on the news about this. they mentioned that the solar cells will be used to power a/c and stuff like that. FINALLY theyre smartening up and going with a cheaper power source
they’ll jack up the price to 30K and the stupid hippies will still buy it.
That’s kinda what’s throwing me with the Smart cars.
They reccomend at least 91 octane.
They get about 40mpg.
But they only seat two.
And they cost about 13k - 16k.
Honestly. I would rather have a Golf TDI for that price.
you could get a crx hf for at least half that now…and have a lot more fun getting better gas mileage…crx hf = 49/51…
