i might be looking at a 91-94 gen legacy …
now my question is, how do you decipher between the turbo and NA model?
are they reliable? i am looking at autotrader with some that have over 200k+ miles on them.
thanks

I responsded to your PM about this.
If a car is 12-15 years old and has over 200k miles on it chances are it’s not the most reliable thing in the world. As far as cars that old go, two of my legacy turbos have 190-200k miles on them and they’re still reliable enough for me.
thanks for the info
edit
hood scoop got it
91-94 turbos have a hood scoop
Well the differences between the non turbos and turbos that i have noticed is that if it is owned by mike it is turbo. If it is anywhere else, its not turbo.
lol.
mikes car fucking rocks.
Edited cause he owns all of them, or at least most of them.
i heard there were none left in the US, so he started buying all the ones in Canada.
wow these are pretty hard to find.
^^ What he said
I know of a mint one.
^^ is it for sale?
i had a 88 subaru legacy gl wagon for a while.
Thing had 215k on it, and the motor woud not quit.
Non turbo motor, that thing is weird.
You open the hood, there is a fucking spare tire on top of the motor but you can’t find the motor.
Thing was dead reliable, the winter just rotted the body panels real bad.
