hello guys , just home bored, relaxing with a few brews and was just wondering what a suitable straight trade would be for a 1995 240 sx auto, mint body, automatic sadly, high mileage. what do you guys think. Last offer i received was a 1998 honda prelude but I’m not too big on hondas since i reached my 20s… give me some input on what you think?
Honestly thats worth about $3500-4500 tops, if the chassis is clean. So expect to get something worth about $4000.
if its tiptronic then pass on it … they are prone to failure unless u add a transmission cooler.

then dont go for it, try to trade for something worth what I said or sell the car for 3500-4000, easiest way.
How much is high mileage? If its auto with high mileage i doubt you’ll be able to pull in 3500 for it unless you get lucky.

if the frames good he should be able to, if its got little to no rust, itd be perfect for a sr or rb swap

Well generally a clean s14 goes for between $3000 and $4000 on Kijiji, but at the same time, there could be hidden problems, so for the added security of this forum, people can boost the price a tad.
IMO, a 98 Prelude is worth a LOT more than a 95 S14 Auto, but if the Prelude is auto too, then it’s pretty fair.
