This has been bugging the hell out of me since I bought this car, but I didn’t fix it til now cause I knew a turbo upgrade was in the cards and I’d need new piping anyway.
This is part of the hotpipe they made. 2" pipe going into 2-1/2". Except instead of a nice transition, they jammed the smaller pipe 6" into the larger pipe, gobbed a bunch of weld to fill the gap, and ground it “smooth”. As any retard could figure out, this isn’t the best for airflow.
yeah Project Omega is in edmonton on the west end, very close to Mopac. I have never had anything done personally there, but Rob is a great guy who doesn’t screw people over. He just loves to work on cars and knows a hell of a lot. I would recommend them to anyone.
Agreed sumarus has done some weak stuff, give Omega a try they are the new force to be reconed with, plus you gotta check out Paul’s car (he works there). Id have to say it is for sure the nicest exterior s13 in the city hands down.
Man, Sumaru’s is where I had my Tein springs installed, guess I’m lucky I didn’t ask them to build anything for me! It is where I first found out about NECC tho…a sticker on the white Skyline slowly sinking into the dirt in front of their shop - is it still there?
