summer is almost over...

exactly what i do and i agree that it is the best way…

driving a jdm through an edmonton winter is possibly the worst thing you can do to your car…

Pretty much anything that honda or Toyota makes… :finga:
Because you don’t want to get stuck on the side of the road because your unreliable POS broke down. So you buy a quality car, like a honda or toyota. :finga:
Ok, i will add Volkswagen too. Feel better?

Thats funny. My parents civic that is a couple years old (00 stock) has had many many more problems than my 240sx that has about 1.8 times the power as stock and is driven WAY harder.

i’m driving my car this winter because its AWD, and has some rust. Next spring its getting painted then no more winter driving.

cheap 240sx or 180sx for thw winter is the best … my alto last year was not a good idea … “sigh”

I heard somewhere that lethbridge doesn’t use salt on the roads (might be wrong though), so does that mean it is okay to drive in the winter?

96 TAURUS DRIFT WAGON FTW HAHA

You’d be correct on that one.

Sorry, some of us cant afford winterbeaters… I drive the Altima All year round…

I do the same (well, this will be the first winter with the new Altima). I didn’t drop my hard-earned money on a car with heated leather seats to have it sit in my garage all winter.

I like keeping my cars as clean and damage-free as possible, but I’m also one of those guys who thinks that cars are for driving. If I have something that I can’t drive year-round in a Calgary winter, then I guess I’d have to consider either changing the car, or changing the city. But maybe that’s just me…
