Summer wheels G37?

Wrong color car but fitment due to GTR offset is something to keep in mind

on H&R springs

This was my G set up:

I recommend getting a similar suspension set up to what i had; Tein springs / Tokico shocks. And then setting up your wheels and tires properly so that you dont rub but also to minimize wheel gap (stance it).

This set up, with SPL arms and a good alignment, was better than a brand new 335i Msport off the lot. Infinitis are great cars, you just need to unmute them a bit.

There was a local guy who bought a bunch of gear off me with a G37 sedan that just did wheels like what you posted, coilovers and exhaust and the car looked and sounded incredible… you could get a similar stance with spring / shock and still DD it all year round.

That first wheel/color combo looks simliar to Dos’s car.

No joke, the first pic i thought was of a BMW.

Those GTR wheels are dope!!!

Too bad the suspension isn’t the same as a Maxima, I have a friends Eibach springs collecting dust in my apartment.

Snows on steelies, and save your money for something fun.

I don’t even think anyone uses steelies on Infinitis when I worked there every winter tire package was on some some sort of cheap aftermarket rim.

You can’t clear the brakes with less than 17s

Regardless wheels/whatever on this car won’t impact me spending money on something fun

Hmm, well maybe look for a used set of oem rims for winter. Then buy another LS1 Camaro with the saved money.

I’m about to pull the trigger on springs but apparently nobody makes a front aftermarket shock for the AWD version.

Koni makes shocks for the RWD but the front AWD mount is completely different

KYB GR2 is the only ‘upgrade’ and its listed as a OEM replacement part but supposed to be 5-10% firmer

This is the only coilover available for AWD - http://iapdirect.com/bc-racing-coilover-kit-for-2004-infiniti-g35-g37-all-wheel-drive.html?utm_source=source&utm_medium=medium&utm_term=term&utm_content=content&utm_campaign=googleps&gclid=CKfDw-nKl7wCFa5DMgodTzgAog

Discount tire direct has 17" steel wheels for $72 each. They also have some not horrible looking aluminum wheels for $100 or less each.

I’d buy some black 18" wheels off discount tire with summer rubber in a close to factory size and call it a day.

BC coils are really nice.

once you start spending that much you might as well just find a set of nicer used wheels.

I’m not sure when this turned into a debate over winter wheels/tires.

I won’t run steelies for half the year I would buy another set of used OEM rims off Ebay before doing that.

im going to disagree here.

for a DD sedan up here in the North East please don’t get these.

stick with spring / shock ambitions. If your are not doing a massive drop then GR2’s will be fine if that is the only option but i have a hard time believing there isn’t a Koni or Bilstein application out there.

I love these wheels (and im not a “wheel guy”). But if you are not going to stagger the wheels then you would have to buy 2 sets of fronts. I also don’t know how they would look on a Sedan… I’d never go this big as the cost of tires between the 17’s and 19’s is 4x higher.

I checked all the 370z stuff bolts onto the RWD G37 but not AWD :frowning:

Agreed 100%

Not to beat it to death, and I know you seem to be on board with getting some springs, but I’ve had lowered winter cars for about 20 winters are this point, and never broke a bumper or front end. I’ve killed a few wheels, but that would have happened lowered or not.

x…

be careful. theres really some slim room to make this car look good when anythings done to it…the smallest changes make it go from nice to super ghetto FAST.

How about LM’s or LM R

Is Ghetto a positive or negative from the Jersey Shore look?
