This project is the only reason I’m even slightly considering this http://syracuse.craigslist.org/cto/3629048965.html
If I had 1500 laying around I’d buy that right now.
Stripped another s2k and have been working on my boat a lot lately but I should be back into this project within the month
Elliot dropped off up some 4x100 steelies this weekend. Another couple days and i should have the S out of the garage and i can start working on this thing finally. I am undecided weather i should start with the 4x100 swap knowing i still need rotors, brakes and bearings or if i should just try to drive it down to my buddies shop for a half cage and new gas tank. I guess i’ll have to get it out of the garage this week and rip it up and down the road to make that call.
more parts piling up on the shelf
-act prolite flywheel
-aem fuel rail (dislike the look of the golden eagle rail on there now)
10to1? is that the final assembled compression?
i hope you have forced induction or super low octane fuel in the future.
needs more compression imo.
nice build and keep the updates coming
it will be FI, going to cram a 30r somewhere in that engine bay
I’ve had this car on my mind a lot lately, and with the red s2k out of my garage i’ve free’d up a lot of space. next week i’m gonna pull the engine and the interior and get my list together for what i need to do on body repair, engine bay etc. With the engine out i’ll bring it over to my buddy Ozzy and get the gas tank made for the spare tire area and get the half cage in it.
i was reading the latest issue of honda tuning (which i never read) and saw a b18 in there rywire had done which had an awesome coil pack conversion done, went online and looked it up and it solves my ecu issue as well because their kit comes with a series 2. So i’ve added that to my list of engine parts. Still have to work out where i am going to fit everything in that tiny bay, but its coming together in my head anyways) one part at a time. Next week the big work will start to begin.
Awesome, looking forward to this build.
