rest assured this is going to be one of those super bowls (like new england #2 and 3, and baltimore when they beat the giants) that everyone forgets about like the next day. no worries.
congrats to fitzgerald btw for breaking the post season td mark too… really would have liked to see him get the win seems like a classy guy who doesn’t let all the attention get to his head
:word:
i just get bothered that this is yet another feather in rothl. cap. He is just not that good of a quarterback. He’s alright, but hes not great. He looked pissed he didnt get MVP… for what?! 1 TD pass/ 1 INT and just over 200 yards passing?? the man should be a tight end. Alot of calls against the cards were questionable too… its just sad it took them untill after the half to turn it on… they could have won the game.
That was a great game. I really wish the Cards had won. I was banging my head on the wall at some of the officiating though, oh well. That’s football. Was a great comeback, too bad they couldn’t hold on.
A lot of that is due to their defense. Look at the time of posession in the first half. They had all of what, 5 plays in the first quarter?
I said when it happened that the INT return was the game, I couldn’t believe no one could get him down/out. A potential 14 pt swing going in to the half? Jesus.
It was a whole different ball game after the int and 100 yd TD. The Steelers catch at the end was clear. No question that both his feet were on the field in-bounds.
The fumble call was close, but I do not believe that Warner had full control of the ball when his hand was moving forward. I really wish he could have gotten the hail mary off though. Those WRs on Arizona are great at catching in those situations.
Awesome way to end the season. This was a GREAT season. I liked that there weren’t too many overly dominant teams the entire season. The few teams that were dominant in their conference were out quickly and it was anyone’s win.
I see no problem with officiating overall :gotme: if anything the only questionable call was the Warner fumble.
There were an abundance of marginal 15 yard penalties on Arizona. On the Pitt TD drive in the 3rd quarter, they went like 76 or 79 yards or something like that on 16 fucking plays. 45 of the yards were on arizona 15 yard penalties, 2 of the 3 of which were BS. No way they score a TD if it takes them 16 plays to move the ball 30 yards. Couple that with the 2 bad calls they tried to give Pitt that AZ had to challenge, and how the hell do you not take the time to review a fumble with the Super Bowl on the line? If Warner and the Cardinals organization weren’t such class acts, they’d be raising holy hell right now.
Meh shit happens, maybe im a tad bit biased though
Because they are the Steelers and nobody cares about them
Agreed. Lots of questionable calls, and times when it was amazing that no flag was thrown against the steelers.
Uhmmm, did anyone else notice how hot Warners wife and daughters were??? lol someone had to say something. I didnt see any sons though, whos gunna carry on the legacy?
Warners wife had some serious work done. Last time around, she looked like she got smacked around with the WTF stick. That’s more than just a new haircut and an Arizona tan.

“Warner officially adopted Brenda’s two children, son Zachary and daughter Jesse, after their marriage. The Warners also have 5 children of their own: sons Elijah and Kade, daughter Jada, and twin girls Sierra Rose and Sienna Rae”
