Just wondering if that format could be added. I’d kind of a pain to reconvert to to a JPEG. And near lossless formats are nice. 
Didn’t know it wasn’t supported, but I am also an advocate of PNG format…

Totally depends on the content of the graphic. Simpler stuff tends to be smaller in PNG than JPG, and without all of the artifacting. Plus it also depends on what quality settings are used when saving the files, for both formats.

In certain situations, PNG format will absolutly blow away JPEG in terms of size/quality. In other cases it’s just quality. It’s like a GIF with out the 256/255 color limit, and better compression. Excellent for larger images with few colors.
