B18c5 anyone :mwahaha

what a complete waste of money. ^ you can build a b20vtec for less than half the price and make way more power. :nuts :nuts :nuts :nuts :nuts :nuts :nuts

Myself I would stay away from b20vtec. Thats just me…I know most people do it…myself Id do up a JDMb18c SIR-G :nod

why would you stay away from it? how does lower cost/higher horsepower/equal reliability sound like a bad thing? :haha

Doesn’t. Just not my personal choice. Thats all :nod

well i dont mean to step on anyones toes here but your personal choice is downright silly. why would anyone ever choose to pay more for less??? not not even logical. thats like saying man i could have a 1000 pounds of gold for 1 million bucks or i could have 1 pound of gold for a billion bucks. i think ill take the 1 pound of gold. YOU WOULD GET SLAPPED! lol some people just make no sense at all. :nuts :confused :crackup

Here’s a question, why do you need to build/swap your motor when you are putting on a new front end? I didn’t know that a new bumper required power to “back it up”.

right…lol its like ohhh you putting lip on that thing? you better be packin like 600hp or else man. OR ELSE! lol its almost like a threat. YOU’D BETTER BE!. i could put a type r front on my car, convert it to rhd, do a full carbon dash, buy every spoon part i can possibly waste my money on, buy 4000$ baller as carbon/kevlar wheels that weight 2 pounds, have electrical gadget known to man, have like recaro underpants. and still rock a single cam non vtec carbbed d-series swap, with like 8:1 comp, and the shittiest cam ever.

b20’s from what I have read on g2ic just isn’t that reliable…

It just has to be built right, look at Paul’s EF from Synapse. Extremely mild block and near stock GS-R head, 12.4@109 IIRC.

Im not dissing b20’s at all. There have been some good set ups with b20’s but in the long run I would rather do a JDM b18c sir-g or a LS/Vtec

that was his old setup. but his motor is extremely simple. and all stock parts with the exception of arp studs/harware, and golden eagle kit. hes also got supertech valves/ retainers/ springs. other than that its super simple. just dont a be a big goober and learn how to build a motor. everyone on g2ic is a goober first off. lol. secondly dont just listen to what you read on forums. half of it is garbage anyway. a b20vtec is extremely simple if done right its super reliable as well. you have to basically not be an idiot, and itll be fine. my build is simple.

b20b block
b16a head
supertech valves/springs/retainers/guides
skunk2 pro2 cams
golden eagle kit
gsr oil pump
gsr headbolts
ls rods with arp hardware
gsr waterpump
neptune
s1 tranny
act flywheel/clutch

planning on making 225 and hoping on making 235 whp. for just about 2 grand.

this is why your duh duh duh DUH! :stfu

yeah I’ve talked to him a few times, his new set up is bound to be insane

no its still basically simple. its just done right. also i forgot to mention my b20r rsmachines pistons lol and acl bearings

:confused :confused

like going through gears like a noob

1…
2…
3…
4? no 2nd omg im DUH!

I know it’s simple, I meant insane for what it is :cool

lol thats something new…myself even though I drive a N/A i am not a N/A guy so I’m just going to stick with my B17a1 :lol

oh it definately is. lol. you need to ride in it lol. and hes on stock itr intake cam nad stock gsr cam. a set of skunk2 pro2’s would be like omg lol hes 13:1 compression too lol.

so, back on topic ;D

cant wait to see this done :giggedy
