T3 Super 60 Trim??

Hey guys what’s up…
I gotta question…
I’m still new to tha "srt4’’ modding thing, but I’m learning. Anyways…my buddy is selling his T3 Super 60 Trim turbo, Brand new, and I was just wondering IF and how I could get it to fit my 04 Srt4. And what other MODs I would need for it to work. He’s gonna sell me thw turbo for VERY cheap because he owes me a few favors lol. So just figured I’d get some input, like even if it would be worth it.
I know ppl are going to ask what am I looking in my car for so,
Its gonna be my DD, but I don’t really drive it That much, and also I would like to push as much HP as I can afford lol.

alot of the older turbo dodge cars used that turbo as a factory upgrade from mopar but they have completely different turbine housings than any other manufactures do to a unique inlet flange. to go garrett or any of the other garrett copy turbos that are common with the standard 4 bolt turbine inlet you will also need to get an axhaust manifold cause it won’t bolt up do to the mitsu being a different flange and the integrated wastegate bypass built into the manifold itself. if i were you i would either get the mopar performance turbo upgade or if your looking for a garrett based turbo just go t3/t4 since your gonna have to spend money on a whole new mani and downpipe and othe odds and ends anyways. i think slowboy sells a cast mani for a garret based turbo with an external wastegate that is cast so its not too much money. go check out their site.

you prob. need to upgrade injectors, and find some new means for fuel management

you also have to “modify” your firewall about an inch for a 60 trim i suggest a 2 lb sledge…dont know what stage srt you are runnin low 12s on a modded stg 1

Well after looking at all my options, and asking around on srtforums, I’m going to go with a 20G. That’s what most ppl been saying to go with.

60 trim isnt bad for an SRT if you raise the redline a little more. 50 trims seem to be more at home on the 2.4 then the60. If its reverse rotation thenit wouldwork fine. If its cheap then itmight be worth it.

hes talkin about a 60 trim t3 wheel not a 60 trim t4 compressor wheel
