Targa Top S13 Hatches?

i was cruising around on car domain, and i found a guy who claims to own one of the 500 targa top s13 hatches? were they ever made?

i dont know but it looks pretty dam SWEET! :smiley:

it looks legit too becuase on the last pic on the bottom of the page when the “Targa 240” has like half of the silvia converson done, you could see the roof line. I also did a google search and found one more 240 with this targa roof.

All that I am certin of is that I want one!

well the guy in cardomain seems to be in austrailia. and the google search of the other red targa, the guy who posted the pic is in japan soo…

maybe its one of those things that north amarica got shuned on… :frowning:

yepper… you would have to add so much material and strenghten/brace the frame from front to back to keep the car from splitting in half

or a roll cage at the very least but that would look gay with the targa top because you’d see the bars running across etc etc

It’s not a production model. In fact the S13 wasn’t even ever sold in Australia.

There are tons of them for sale, but they were all imported from Japan. They enjoyed special import rules (but not anymore).

I always wanted to grab a Crap chassis and just try to make something targa up, just to see how to do it
