you can’t really blame republicans for the shit going on with Bush, noone likes him.
If he was so disliked how did he get elected the 2nd time?
:dunno:
I didn’t vote for him.
Maybe I’m wrong, the lawsuit is still pending even though the DNC and Obama have both filed motions to dismiss. The courts are proceeding with the case. I wish McCain had the balls to ask some other questions also, like “what is your relationship with Tony Rezco, a convicted federal felon?‘’ or “what are your ties to Rashid Kalidi, a prominent member of the PLO , and why did you give him $75K?” or maybe " why did a radical muslim named Khalid Al-Mansour raise money for you to get into Harvard Law School(with the help of Saudi prince Alwaleed bin Talal)?” or " Why do you deny involvement with ACORN after the feds start investigating them(he represented ACORN in the Motor Voter lawsuit)?" or “why are two of your advisors, Frank Raines and Jim Johnson(former CEO’s of Fannie May and Freddie Mac, respectively) still working for you even though the FBI is investigating both of them for illegal accounting practices that have helped cripple our economy?” Obama has some pretty shady people around him, and 2 of the major players in our economic crisis working for him. Well, I guess we’ll have lot’s to talk about in line at the soup kitchen after he wrecks the economy.
so what right wing smear blog are you copy/pasting this horseshit off of?
What about McCain being born in the Panama Canal Zone?
If you would have checked, Obama released his birth certificate in June of this year.
is any of what he said not true?
obama is a fucknugget. He will do more to fuck the country up than McCain will by a far margain. I do think both of them suck ballz, but again we are stuck with voting for the lesser of 2 evils.
I dont know to what extent it is true. None of the links to any sort of credible information that supports this claim seem to work in my browser. If there were any truths or significance to these associations, I am 100% sure we would have heard about it. I mean this is a black dude running for president. Probably the most vetted man in history.
mccain was born by 2 american citizens in a military zone. he is legal.
so many idiots like obama, it makes sense… i just don’t understand people that i know are rational that are voting for him! I inherently disagree with taking money from the rich and giving to the poor… it’s just wrong. Obama wants to tax the rich to get extra cash, and instead of propsing to paying away the debt, he wants to hand it to people that sometimes don’t even pay into income tax. why?
Clinton did a pretty good job of doing just that. I was in the Army during the Clinton era and saw the active duty Army shrink from 780,000 to 475,000 in just 2 years.
We have major problems all over the place. And there is no way to fix it quickly.
I’m not a big fan of raising taxes, but spending more than you make and then BORROWING the rest is no way to run a government.
shrink the government… not just the military!
Clinton cut more than the military. CIA, FBI, the list is long. He cut enough to have a 30 Trillion dollar surplus at the end of his tenure. (I think it was 30 trillion.)
How much per day are we spending in Iraq?
Obama seems far too socialist for me.
Obama plus a Republican Congress?
BTW Sonny. Do you need oil for the shop?
FAR too socialist.
He + current congress is a scary thought to me.
and always, going down in 1 hr.
Not sure what Clinton’s surplus was, but there’s no way it was 30 Trillion, that’s a ridiculous amount of money. The U.S. government is about 10 Trillion in debt now, and that’s huge amount.
Clinton was very fiscally responsible while in office, and brought the budget under control, but he only created a mild budget surplus.
and x3 on Obama’s socialist policies. Buy your guns now. Obama is up in the polls and he’s never voted against a gun ban of any kind in his life, he always votes for them. The soundbyte BS he pulls on the campaign trail about supporting the 2nd amendment is an outright lie.
Isn’t 30 Trillion what our deficit is now?
Lol.
I suck at remembering the facts.
According to Wikipedia: “Based on Congressional accounting rules, at the end of his presidency Clinton reported a surplus of $559 billion”
You can inherently agree then that Bush has done the complete opposite and where has this lead us today? I am sick of people saying that we can’t blame the current administration for anything, that’s such a cop out. He is the president, he runs the country and when ish happens on his watch, yes I blame him. He is the elected official, so he is responsible. I am not blaming him for 9/11 rather things that ARE in his control. Regarding, your ‘ihnerent’ beliefs, where does he say he wants to give to the poor instead of cut the debt? He wants to give to the 101 million that are struggling, instead of continuing to drive us into more debt with Iraq. How is it that they have a massive surplus and we are now investing in setting up a 110 million dollar embassy there. Let’s use the money here not there!
What has the previous administration done while the Pres is Rep and the Congress for 6 out of the 8 years has also been Rep? Where has this lead us today? The scary thought is that luckily the Bush administration did NOT privatize SSI and now people aren’t totally fucked on that end!
all that info is from the tax policy center’s website…i think its taxpolicyenter.org?
they got all their info from
McCain, John “Taxes: Simple, Fair, Pro-Growth and Competitive.”
McCain, John "Health Care Reforms: Better Care, at Lower Cost, for Every American. "
Obama, Barack “Barack Obama’s Comprehensive Tax Plan”
Obama, Barack “Comparing the Obama and McCain Tax Plans”
Obama, Barack “The Tax Facts: The Truth About the Obama Plan”
yet they voted for him… do all of you morons who voted for him (& there are a lot on here) now admit you made a mistake in the last 2 elections…the 2004 being a bigger mistake.
good point…trickle down economics doesn’t work in reality…PERIOD!!
Really? Please explain to me then, how the tax revenues collected by the federal government doubled during Reagans term.
it does what its “supposed” to do…benefits the wealthiest Americans at the expense of working class. its goal is to shift the greater portion of America’s wealth into the hands of the wealthiest Americans. so the rich get richer & the poor get poorer. & all the tax loopholes catering to large corps. in the reagan system allowed the shit that came to head in the past few years…ENRON etc… also its almost 2009…not the 80’s & the way our economy is right now…giving the money to the rich to invest, create jobs & opportunity is not going to happen. the top 1% control more then 1/3 of the nations wealth…so IMO they should pay more.
