Team Mulsanne drift car!

Okay guys. I’m selling this for a friend. I’m heading to california to deliever a car in the next month or so, so getting this car imported/transported is very easy/inexpensive, due to it being a return-load trip for the truck.

So I’m selling my 1989 Nissan 240sx S13. I’ve decided to change
platforms altogether. Originally, I was going to do a full-car rebuild
with new suspension, wheels, paint, built engine, so many of the parts
are not installed. Now I’ve decided to buy one of my dream cars. Some
parts are interchangeable between S13 and the new car, so I am keeping

PM is key!

Your buying teddies car!?!?!

Holy shittt

Nah man. Just helping out a friend sell it! He wants my car.

*helping a friend to sell his car.

oooh your trying to sell it on here?

like anyone is cool enough on here to rock that beast

Its not as simple as trailering this thing back.
You need manfacturers clearance letter, which can take a few days-weeks to get, the recalls have to be performed by a Nissan dealer with a letter stating for proof (front seatbelt assembly is recalled), the buyer has to pay duties on top of this purchase price, there is your AC excise tax, and lots more.

If anyone is interested in this car, pm me. Ive imported from the states and can answer any questions for you and Mark to get this rolling.

Sweet car though.

Thanks Matty.

Yeah. I’m aware of the import process, I’ve brought a couple cars back. However in my experience with cars coming from california, the most expensive part is the shipping. Lessening that, brings the whole overall cost waaaaaay down.

Good stuff
If someone does want to scoop this machine up, have the owner take care of the recalls and clearance letter and what not before you even arrive in Cali.

I was surprised with the price. Someone (owner) could part this out and make 1.5x that easily.

i also know form experience, importing isnt as hard as people think. gl with sale mark. its a sick car.

ooohhh yeah!

forgot to mention,

sell me the floor mats when this thing gets here.

thanks mark!

are you sure the recalls have to be done on 15+ year old vehicles?

If this was say a week earlier I could have got it even cheaper. We just brought 2 vehicles in from California to Mississauga.

I wish those mats were RHD…

woooow this car should be in a drift hall o fame… damn!

Someone should post the build of this car, awesome car

^^ eh… not quite!

the above only applies to vehicles imported through the RIV, i.e., vehicles from the USA that are newer than 15 years old

vehicles that are 15 years old and older do not go through the RIV and are not subject to any compliance requirements

the import process for a 1989 240SX from the US is the same as it would be for a 1989 180SX coming from Japan

looks like he’s parting the whole car. he made a thread on zilvia parting it out…

Yessir he is. The partout thread I’ll be posting in a bit! All parts minus the floormats are available with CHEAP UPS 3 day shipping.

parting out… lock it up!
