That’s not much more than a bunch of Touch Screen LCDs lined up closely and a nice healthy (fast) processor grabbing all those input signals and telling a computer what it’s getting.

sure, a rich ass company spent $150,000 on a GPU, spent $350,000 on a CPU, spent $1,000,000 on a small group of programmers for a year, $5,000,000 on a bigass screen, spend $10,000 on a Touch Screen overlay for that bigass screen. Anything is possible with the right amount of money. It’s ashame that they spent so much money on something only to make a HUGE version of what’s already been done.
This product/concept has had potential right from the small version. Why do we need a big version to see even more potential? I don’t see more potential, I see waste. Find an extremely practical application that’s entirely used for functionality before art and then we’re talking.

yea thats ballin…btw popcorn i found out it only has two TV’s 110inchs, the small square lines are for i dunno…but yea they do look like many small lcd screens.
So they cheaped out on the units and made two TVs instead of one.
I guess the small sqares was an initial example to make it similar to Wheel of Fortune. When most people think of a big touchscreen they think Vana White (however her name is spelt)
^^^agree there must be a purpose for it to exist. Off the top of my head i think the compartmentalization is so if a certain area of the LCD liquid is distorted they can fix that certain square. i guess

“Hate” is such a powerful word. I’m ok with the CONCEPT, but not intune with its uses. At least current day it’s useless and a complete waste of resources. Sure, you can’t move forward if you don’t make things to aid it, but the smaller version of the same thing has been made time and time again. Then these guys are pushing it off as a “new” thing???
… Terminology right???.. My dad started teaching me how to manipulate a DOS operating system on a Wang computer when I was 3. You can’t even shit properly when you’re 3. I love electronics, and I see computers as “the way of life” for me. It would’ve been that consistently if a guy didn’t **** me over royally in 2003 involving lots of money which demolished my small computer business. I went to school for Computer Engineering.
I have jobs lined up as a Computer Programmer right now. Sad that I’ve ended up as in house Legal Counsel/Agent.
