His bike was far out classed. In straight line acceleration he would be beat by any other bike there at half throttle.
There are two reasons for that display, one is that he was a racer on what seemed to be just an amateur track day, and whatever the reason was, most of the guys didn’t seem to be giving it all they’ve had.
