tell me about canandaigua

if you were to work in canadaigua I would find an apt. or house half way between rochester and there. That way you can get the best of both.

not an option. the work territory would be canadaigua all the way south to corning so i would have to reside somewhere in there

^
that sounds pretty miserable.

It’s really only 15 minutes down to Canandaigua from Victor, that’s still totally out of the question?

There’s not much else between Canandaigua and Corning, unless you want to live in the country. On a positive note though, there are a LOT of good roads around there

I wonder what property taxes in Victor are compared to Canandaigua, it’s kind of a wealthy area in some places. I would think it’d be cheaper to live in Canandaigua, even though I would prefer Victor. But he said no Victor so we’re getting OT.

Well, do you want to live in the country? Because that part of the state is all country. There will be no night life aside from townie bars. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but the finger lakes region is not suburban.

my brother dated a porn star from here.

look her up. i <3 her.

with a company car, i have to reside within the territory so i wouldnt be able to live in victor. honestly, i wouldnt be looking to go out on the weekdays, ill be too busy. i suppose a 30-40min drive to rochester or coming back to buffalo on the weekends wouldnt be that bad. im just a little worried about not having a lot of things that im used to around here. a nice place to work out, plenty of good eats, bars to watch sports, places to meet girls, etc.

Where are you now? Why don’t you go visit the area for a day or two and see what you think.

im in buffalo now. i was actually considering taking a ride out there this weekend cause i have off fri-sun

Gotcha.
Would this be a temporary thing or long term?

If you ski/snowboard it would be nice to have that close by.

it would be temporary in the sense that i can apply for a transfer to another city anywhere in the country whenever i want provided there is a position open in that city.
