so i think im allergic to labatt blue in bottles. i dont normally drink blue cause i think its nasty, im more of a molson or high life guy.
back in august at my frends bday party i drank a bunch of blue throughout the evening, the next day my gum in the bottom right side in the back swelled up bad and gave me excruciating pain for about a week. so i thought it was my wisdom tooth, but after the swelling went down, there was no “new” tooth showing or anything. then i had no problems till yesterday. which on monday night my frnedh ad people over, i drank blue from the bottle again all night, and yesterday my gum swelled up again, and its def painfull…
could it be coinsidence or could there be something in the labatt blue bottles that im actually allergic to, like a preservative thye use or something???
so far my mom and intense98rt laughed at my theory
my frend actually got me to drink a “brass monkey” at the local hippie bar the one night, 3/4 pint guiness, 1/4 orange juice, its actually not bad, not god enough to make a rap out of the drink. but okay.
It could be your wisdom teeth just moving out from being impacted. They don’t necessarily have to break through the gum for the gum to swell I would think. I am no dentist so take that FWIW…
yea, if you were allergic the swelling would have been throughout your entire mouth…but im no doctor. My roomate in college was allergic to bud light, and only bud light…he would break out in hives.
^lol
I’d say it’s got to be a coincidence. I can’t see a certain type of bottle of a certain drink being responsible for that. Only one way to find out though…try it out one more time…
Labbat Blue is the only thing that makes me throw up… Used to drink it alot back when I lived in Buffalo, and now that I think about it, those were the only times I threw up after drinking (even if not heavily). And now, every time I’m home, if I drink more then 3 or 4, it never fails, I’ll wake up out of a dead sleep and be sick for the next 24 hours.
You might want to lay off Labatt blue in bottles. I’ve thoroughly tested Labatt Blue in bottles and I’ve had no trouble or negative side effects with that beer. If you enjoy drinking beer you should try Flying Bison. They make some good micro-beer.
