I thought the whole idea of having a daily driver was so that you simply use it for it’s intended purpose; to get you around from Point A to Point B. I’m not saying you’re modding your daily or debating doing that.
I dont understand how you all dont understand that a car (mine) with 186 whp (yes it was dyno’d) is not going to beat a car (your gti) with 178 hp ? The numbers speak for themselves. Tell ya what if ur gonna call me stupid cause Im a woman, then race me at the valley and we will see who calls who stupid then:thumbup Im not trying to brag or say Im faster than anyone, all Im saying is that my car or any Si is not as piss ass slow as you make it seem. was simply saying this for the reason that i felt the clutch engegment was really low to the floor meaning u have to throw the clutch all the way to the floor everytime. where as a more race type clutch will have an engagement more towards the top so u dont have to put ur foot through the floor and disengage the clutch.
I wasnt saying to race u , it was intented for the op who claimed his old gti could smoke the si or rape its butthole or something like that.:lol I dont know maybe its the slight mods I Have but I LOVE my car and am very happy with the performance. Also take into consideration, my car is a 4cyl with NO boost, all engine, and the gti needs the turbo to even produce hp.
i might not be here. but those stock polycarbonate intake manifolds dont like alot of boost. 10-12psi is about the limit but 12psi in a healthy stock 12v vr6 will get 300whp
