well here are a few pics of the skirts being test fitted on the truck. i have about 2 hours just into trimming out for the side exhaust. skirts lined up pretty well with just minor grinding here and there. hopefully in the next few days ill be able to cut and test fit/form my flares to the skirts. the plan was to have an oversized Xtreme with lightning style exhaust
yes i know you guys will rice but who cares. the skirts hide the frame so its only as low as the frame is now
thanks, something i wanted to do since getting truck but funds were never there and then over time they appreard. got the skirts for a good price last winter. had the air dam on htere but never painted. old one didnt last long being dropped. solid fiberglass isnt best idea for a lowerd truck. so this one is a hard plastic. skirts are urethene and fit very well. just be good to have truck all painted again.
I agree 100% urethane is the way to go on stuff like skirts and such especially when living in a fluxuating climate like the burg, and you are going to drive the vehicle year round.
Fiberglass gets too brittle in extreme cold and cracks easy. The kid who bought my car is learning that the hard way with the hood I had on there. I never took it out in this type of weather and it was garage kept all year, thats why it held up for me hood wise.
no, its going white to match the truck. its just test fitted now and will be ocming off probably tonight or in next few days to get painted. then once all that is done then the stripes go on
