imo it’s too expensive. it’s not mint. it’s decent. owned 2 of these in the past years. ask osad. he’ll tell u what’s mint s12 looks like. 125 hp @the crank when new more like 100 hp now. good luck finding parts if ur keeping the engine. no aftermaket performance part. megan racing might have some. and if you could source out all the OLD HKS electronics you’ll be lucky. none of them exist anymore. couple years ago there’s some guy in cali selling them, but I was selling the car anyway. unless you could fabricate something there’s no bolt on parts. twin spark (ala alfa), pain in the butt turbo placement. good luck getting to all the manifold/turbo bolts, you’ll need S or C wrench.
megan racing has the suspension taken care, but need to swap the front end to S13. canuck motorsport has some springs. you need to be creative in term of damper selection, as KYB gas adjust will blow on canuck springs. or you could use weld on ground control stuffs. T3 has some bump steer spacer in the past. not sure about now. delrin bushings could be source from australia, same with body kit or make your own. there’s one source in poland for grandprix bodykit, but that’s couple of years ago.
Ass project car I’d say go ahead, but not at the asking price. Just to let you guys know what are you getting into. This is ain’t S13. where you could get parts almost everywhere. no more one of these in the bone yard either. Be prepare to do lots of fabrication. Great car when you got it working right,
im jelous of the black interior, but as an s12 owner, this isnt mint, its fairly good condition, even then no mint 12 goes for 35, id pay 500, 1000 at tops for this, not even 12s with sr’s go for 35 these days, theyre rare, parts r super rare, any bolt on affair is over priced, megan does have a good setup but as previously stated it need s13 front end, glws but i dont see this going for 35 or even a trade of that worth.
but whatever you do with it, if you decide to part out, id like to get a lot off this car. lol
the problem with people on here is they’re asking other people if its mint. Mint can mean a lot of different things to people, mint could be a solid floor and a car that has rockers to someone thats owned nothing but shitboxes with canadian tire frame rails and bondo. GET OFF YOUR ASS AND GO LOOK AT IT DON’T TAKE ANYONE’S WORD FOR IT. Simple isn’t it?
