Ive had an itch for wanting to get into a 5 series or an e46. Looking to see if there is any interest in my car.
As title states, its a 96 with the S52 motor paired with the S50 manifold. Hellrot with gunmetal DSII wheels (some paint peel on them), 126k miles, mechanically great but not perfect. Ill get right to the issues- ebrake is not hooked up, never used it, I have a new cable just havent put it in. The clear coat is starting to peel a little on the trunk and on the passenger side skirt. I also get the typical OBC warnings (Low Coolant- its not low, and low beam failure- Im running HIDS). It has the 3.38 LSD rather than the 3.23 after I had to replace the busted diff bolt. Both the diff and tranny have redline fluid in them. I have a stack of receipts for alot of things taken care of pertaining to the cooling system, vanos, cam sensor, etc. Im lazy and dont feel like listing everything while at work. Drives great, I drive it from Hamburg to Amherst everyday. Rides a little rough as its sitting on HR Sports with Bilstein shocks/ struts, that of which had new RSM’s put in as well. Price wise, Im shooting for between 7-8k… meaning I wont take 7k but not looking for more than 8k.
Thanks Aaron… Ive noticed, theres three M3’s for sale on craigslist, all different colors, and Im aware of the who the owners are haha. If someone wants an E36 M3 they have alot of options to choose from right now

Awesome… I love that color, looks great!!! I have a feeling that if I do sell this and get into an e46 or e39, Ill end up wanting and getting into another e36 M3. Right now I just feel right getting rid of it though and seeing how the 540i/6 are
