I have more of a need for a pick up truck than an SUV with the AMG serving around town duty.

With that said I have decided to put the FX up for sale or trade for a truck of equal value or cash +/- Asking 17,500

FX35
100% stock aside from a Sirius Radio that works through the stock head unit. Sounds excellent with the BOSE stereo
Black interior in excellent condition. Heated Seats
Moonroof
Just flipped 35k original miles today.
Exterior has a mark on the front passenger bumper corner and the rear bumper has a pretty good scuff on it but nothing that makes the vehicle look less than presentable.
Front license plate bracket is busted so my plate is ziptied to it. Looks like one of the screws was stripped out at one point and they damaged the plastic where the bolt mounts.

Maint./Recalls
Just today had the oil changed with Mobil 1 and a new air filter installed
Had new headlights and tail lights installed within the last 10k per recall
Had a new dash board installed within the last 10k per recall - ZERO factory bubbling
Pads and Rotors on all 4 corners done within the last 8k

Will need tires before next winter.

Or will trade my gf’s 09 Mercury Mariner Premier with 65k for a truck as well

Buddy loves his and was a Chevy mechanic for 20+ yrs.
Says it’s bulletproof

I love it too…I would prefer to trade the Mariner and let my GF drive the FX

What kind of mileage do you get out of this? Wife is looking for a new SUV/Car

It is hard to say with accuracy due to the cold cold winter and when I just changed the oil, the air filter was terrible.

I do mostly city driving and the current avg. on the dash is 16.5. On the highway I have seen 23, but would expect closer to 25 with the new air filter and warmer temps.

I run premium and synthetic so it should get as much as it can. Its def. pretty reasonable considering the power and size of the engine coupled with the weight and AWD

Good price, too.

Mileage is about 19-23 highway, 14-18 around town (depending on how you drive, among other things)

although after all my modding I was down to a healthy 9 around town and 17 on the highway… lol

Thank you. I do love it and it doesn’t hurt to keep it, but I have the 4 door AMG and see more utility coming from having a truck at this time.

I hear you. There are a few 4 door AMG cars so not sure which you mean, but I still see your point :wink:

Also, for those into modding everything… the FX35 shares a chassis/motor with the 350z :wink:

just purchased one of these, and I absolutely love it, the OBC reads ~24mpg on my commute to work, which is all highway.
