FWIW I wasn’t insulting you at all, I was simply stating that I wish I had a 500hp benz at the age of 19…but then again I’d probably have 500 stds as well.
Being smart with your money would be to put it into an appreciating asset, like a house… but that’s not me either, I plan on renting til I’m 30, but at the same time, buying as many sweet toys as possible. 
some of you guys are insane, mortgage rates are at historic lows and are at a much lower rate than you will lock down an 8 yr old car with 70k on it for. Also mortgage interest is fully deductible and car note interest is not at all.
Not to mention once you dump that 20k into your mortgage you wont ever be getting it back out without a HELOC (read: $$). If sobo has an emergency and needs money he can just sell off the benz.
