My point is that don’t come in here arguing status. I don’t want to hear the “Oh well I have a house, or I finanaced this BS” Because that’s not what this was about.

I have credit. I’ve had a credit card and have done 2 automotive loans before in my life which I have since paid off in full (Just to work on my credit score)

I could have got the Benz finance for 48 months at 6%. Which is as about as good as it gets for a 8 year old car with 70,000 on it. I chose NOT to because i wanted my line of credit clear for when I do apply for my mortgage over the summer for my house. A car loan also makes it hard to flip the car. Who the fuck finances an 8 year old car with that many miles on it unless it’s for only a couple thousand anyways?

But I was more getting at putting that 20 ish towards a 20-30 year mortgage > Paying car in cash.
What the car loan interest will cost you vs the compounded interest on the home loan.
Over 20 years that extra 20 towards the mortgage would save you over 10 in interest.
(rough numbers and current rates used and not considering inflation)

Kinda got fired up over me questioning the baller ness of the benz…
