I just sold my 2007 bmw m coupe for a various amount of reasons. Now I am quickly looking for a car to purchase. I have narrowed it down to a few and am on the hunt. My choices right now stand at the following:
2004-2005 Mercedes E55 amg
2006 Bmw E60 M5
2007 Audi RS4
The main purpose of this thread is to hear from the people that own them and their pros and cons of the cars. Right now I think I am pretty set on the AMG but I am not to sure. No matter which car I purchase, I will be purchasing a warranty. I also want the four door powerful sedan and thats where these cars come into play. I know for the most part gas mileage sucks and isnt a huge factor but it will be a dd. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

EDIT: Just by pure luck I found and picked up a 2005 E55 AMG 38k miles, 2 year warranty, clean as they have ever come. Stole it for a stupid price too… love the car to death. Ill have pictures soon as I dont have a camera. only have the super shitty one below.
Hmmm, my input, take the 29k, divide by 2, buy a car with that. Now that the money u didn’t spend on a car, and do something “worth” it. Like a classic car.
Now I know I will get flamed, but think big picture when u have cash in your pokect and now way to replace it.
its not a bad idea in any way. i am putting money aside for a business venture, and the money i had saved up for a winter car and the money ill receive to sell my current winter truck. so i have some good cash to put towards the business so i am able to spend most of my money on one of these cars. this thread isnt to help me figure out what i should spend it because i have it set in my mind that i want one of these three cars. like i said though your perspective isnt a bad call. just not something i want to do nor have time to do
i did drive all three, it wasnt easy lol but there are so many things i like and dislike about each just like anyone else. im looking for advice to things that i couldnt know from a test drive (reliability, maintenance, etc) because that shit i dont know for the most part. ive done my research but still not confident about it
Yup. Read up somewhere else, but as far as driving impressions, decide for yourself. I think an e90 M3 sedan would be a good car to throw into this mix as well.
Why would you assume to know anything about someone elses financial situation? For all you know he is a billionaire. This thread is about the cars he asked about. Leave your financial advice/assumptions out of it.
I have never met anyone who switched cars as often as you steve. You have known my opinion, scrap all this nonsense and get your blue Sti back. Still my favorite.
Then pick the one that’s the nicest to be in and drive on a day to day basis, and then gives you the biggest hardest boner when you lay into the throttle.
I’m partial to rs4, plus it has the winter awd bonus
