E55. With all the options. Dynamic seats, nav, distronic, ect. I’ve seen these cars with all this shit go for under 30k (2004-05). It’s alot of bang for the buck.
Or buy a brand new Toyota. Any model I don’t give a fuck. Maybe a Tacoma.

I would shy away from the RS4 just due to the valve and intake mani build up they have issues with. My vote is for E55 if you can live with auto or M5 if you must have stick.

Causing lack of power and mileage issues and being pretty much unavoidable.
Yea I’ve read it can get really bad. The car is rated for 420hp(crank) some people have dyno’d like 200whp because of the awful build up. It’s cleanable but kind of a pain and/or pricey.
The good news is that it is a fairly well known issue in the RS4 world so enthusiasts are likely to have this taken care of by now

but as it seems the e55 amg is just to much bang for the buck and it is what i am going to go with. i would love a stick m5 but i dont want to spend that cash. and i dont want to deal with the motor issues of the rs4 although i fucking love those cars. but as it stands e55 amg it is. now to find one…

Good choice. Make sure it has all the options. I’ve been looking on eBay, there’s always a few nice 2005’s with like 30,000miles on them for 26-32k. They made this in a wagon as well, hard to find and alot more monies.

wagons are sooo hot but way to much extra for me, i found two cars so far in the 40k mile range. one is a 05 and one a 06 for about $30k ish with a warranty so i may have already found my car…
