Well there goes my plan for this.
That bike is sexy. <– reference (The all new ducati 848) Might have to really change my mind on the monster s2r now.
to much maintence with those ducatis, willy you and i will always love the eaz of owning a jap bike.
new bike willy??
I tried to look at different angles of the rear tail, and I still don’t think it’s proportional. It’s sits up too high and is fat as hell.
i still stand by my belief that the F4 MV Agusta (if that’s the proper way of ordering those words) is the best looking sport bike out there…
sexy time
i’d rape it. i wish i could afford one.
I would expect the 848 to be in the 12k rang (total guess) with the 1098 starting at 15k. While supposedly better than the old bikes, the maint. is still pretty costly on these guys if you do a lot of miles. I can’t seem to find any real info on the 848. Its been rumored to be coming out since the 1098 release, and it makes sense, I just haven’t found/seen any hard facts.

first time i think i ever 100% agreed with walter…
its not in the US yet, but my guess with the 1098 starting at 15 and the tricolore nearing the 30k mark, id venture to say that the 848 will be pretty close to 12-14k… i doubt it will be discounted much more than the 1098… i love the way the headlights look though, the F4 headlight never did it for me, and im not a fan of the tail pipes on the F4 either
for the record. the tail is too bubbly, the headlight doesnt do anything for me, and i am a fan of SOLID paint jobs… the wheels however and single sided swing arm are very nice aesthetically
Im diggin the solid fairing look on both of those bikes.
That white on the ducati is hawwwt, wish we saw more white bikes from companies!

this paint scheme doesn’t quite do it for me either, but i’ve seen a few pics of one that’s a high gloss black with just a red horizontal line with F4 at the end of it (on the tank)…ugh…sex…
that tail is HIDEOUS… im into tiny, sharp lines, the r6 of this year is very nice (tail wise)
here it is…the 1000R:
ugh…love it
black > red, but the form of the body… :gay:…
lol… id love to ride one regardless
Spring 2008 Model will be $12900, 137 HP from a different forum… sounds about right for crank hp…
