For anyone else thats really into camping, or self defense, or both. Has anyone ever used one of these? this guy at my work turned me on to this thing. I kinda find myself really wanting to order it but i cant find any reviews on them. Supposedly the army rangers use them? Anyone got one or know anyone who does? So its a really expensive hatchet… i dont get it.
I’ve used the S.O.G. hatchet in the field before … it worked great in Afghanistan as the older locals were terrified of getting their hands chopped off from the russians still.
Other than that i used it to make some large tent stakes … not really worth it … Find a nice old hatchet and sharpen it the right way
