Some twit trying to leave the scene of an accident in a hurry swiped into mine, just after the new fender went on.

What happens when your friends’ fat friend isn’t looking where he’s going.

Ran into my open door (not in a car, just in a fat body) Thankfully it popped back out when I slammed the door with a prybar in the jamb.

Post aftermath of why drifting sans LSD isn’t always a good idea. The reason for the fender change and subsequent front end swap, what’s left of the damage to the driver’s door.

Being a show off and drifting in circle around a concrete light standard. Little too much go pedal, and head on into the pole. Pushed the bumper in, fender back into the door.

Didn’t bother me much, cuz I had all the spares, and the broken bits were rusty or already broken.

Then jackass hit my new unmarked fender. So fender #3 went on lol so it went from red to black back to red.

The car has taken a number of curb fights, one battle with a fence, and a 3rd with an outhouse.

Don’t ask.

what car is that ^

old school 200SX, hence his name. (mr200 = Mr. 200SX)

How does that happen where the fender is dented but not the door?

Same thing on my parts car. :?

door swings in and is pushed beyond how far it’s supposed to go, and pushes in on the fender.

since it’s the curled thin edge of the door, it’s folded metal (door edge) pushing on flat thin metal (fender). the flat thin metal will be the first to give.

If the guy was serious his post woulda been deleted. And insurance is expensive because its a “sports car”

real easy fix though, usually, as long as the hinge didn’t get toastied.

Just open the door, and put a prybar under where the dent is. Close the door slowly at first, and the dent should pop out. If not, try slamming it.

I didn’t think the 240 was considered a “sports car” because it’s a 4 seater.

I thought only FDs, 300s, Rx7s and supras etc. were considered sports cars.

My S12 (old school? lol it’s an 87!) is the same price for insurance as my Charger

:dunno:

if you’ve never seen one … this is your S13 and 14’s older brother in all it’s minging glory

ca18et powered baby

The 240sx, as a 2+2 (not a four seater) is actually considered a “Sport Coupe” although some insurance companies do still classify it as a “Sports Car”.
