The Bobber Project Begins!

Haha. That is probably my favorite Harley.

Went to Home Depot after work today, got the Steel Tubing For my hardtail

Hopefully I’ll be able to cut the frame and maybe get it welded this weekend

Update time!

Cut the rear subframe and suspension off

Mocked up and trimmed the new frame rails

One side welded in, cutting the other side

Got Both sides welded in place. Mocked up the rear fender

Startin to look like a bobber, but those damn handle bars gotta go!

Sick emblems on the tool box haha

And interesting headlight too looks like the Obama care logo or nazi bird

I just realized this bike you’re ripping apart is not the same as the one you posted pics of in your first post… LOL. Googled it?

Yea. Haha. It was really close. Just the front brake is on the wrong side, different handle bars. Just small stuff. Haha

Here’s the shop where I’m working on my bike. I’m grinding off the old rear subframe

.

Big day for updates!

Woooo! Gas Tank!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I’m having ALOT of fun workin on this beast. There is still A lot of work to do. I’ll keep you all posted.

wtf is that thing that goes to the rear wheel… a driveshaft? haha

Actually yes…they make shaft driven bikes, been making them for a looooong time.

Yes it is infact a driveshaft. Lol. Super easy to maintain!

Yup…looks good, speaking of the shaft drive, did you check the fluid? If not I would highly recommend it!

I plan on replacing all the fluids before it hits the road again
