The Bobber Project Begins!

interesting… never really paid attention to that…

i think i still have a repair manual for this bike when i had mine, nice progress so far

Didn’t you say you want a chain driven? Not busing balls but just wondering as you seemed to be set on looking for a chain bike.

I was at first. But I couldn’t find any. So I took what I could find and looked at what I could do!

:number1

Wanna sell it?

sure $15

Only problem is how am I gonna get it?

hes gonna ship it to you

I said the same thign about 2/3 the way through the ducati build up… then right near the end I ran into wiring, ecu, fueling and shifting issues.

Bikes are just as much a pain in the ass as cars, they just take up a hell of alot less space! lol

nice work so far. Keep it up!

What tubing did you use back there? Looks like 1" dia, but what wall?

Any ideas for bars and controls and gauges?

BTW, now would be the best time to bring stuff to me to coat for ya!!! Little shamless plug. lol

It’s 1" tubing. .25 thick. I just got my Drag Bars today along with my pod filters. I’ll post pics in a little while.
I’m gonna run the stock controls. And I’m gonna get a small Speedometer. That’s the only gauge I’ll be using.

You got the tank up here in 'toga?

No it came from Cali. I just had it shipped to my work

Got some work done tonight

Got my new handle bars on

Got the bars at the right level, and finished mounting the tank

Got the seat mounted up, and welded the rear fender in place.

It’s starting to all come into shape

What are you thinking for the wheels?

Paint them black. There is no aftermarket for them

looks great so far nick!
