Thanks man. I actually sat on it last night and it’s actually a perfect arms length.
man thats coming together greatly!!! good job so far!!!
You needed the float needles, like the one in the second pic? I have 3 brand new ones becasue they only came in a pack of 4 and only one was leaking.
look about the same size too.
I already ordered a set of 4. I’m gonna replace them all
Hey Nick, I also have an XJ650 that I was looking into bobbing. I was curious what jets you are going to use with those pods.
I have heard stocks and one size up will work just fine. I’m gonna run stock jets and see what happens. It’s not hard to change them if I have to
Soooo. Haven’t gotten to work on the bike in a while. So no updates on it unfortunatly.
But however since I’ve realized this bike will NOT be done this year, I got impatient.
And bought this
2004 Honda Shadow VLX 600
13kmi and already has drag bars on it.
So now I can ride while I continue to work on the Maxim. And Its a soft tail. So most likely I’ll keep it. Haha
HELL yea man!!! cruise out to my bike night next week!
I don’t have my lisence yet. Haha
what you gonna do MSF or road test?
I signed up for the Hvcc BRC
Looks pretty sick so far!
good way to go forsure to pick up xtra knowledge
Hey guys, I’m still alive if anyone cares.
Haven’t seen my maxim in a few months. So it still in the same condition.
Put in a little work on the Shadow. Got new Handle bars and Risers. Painted some stuff black, and took off the rear seat.
Maybe I’ll make a Thread for this bike too. I can’t leave anything stock. Haha
So now that I’ve got some more free time, I got back to work on the maxim.
Got some more goodies from TC Bros Choppers.
Plate frame and brake light.
I also decided to scrap the turn signals. It’s an 83 so legally it does not need them.
Also picked up a smaller and a little more old school clamp on mirror.
Hopefully I’ll be making a bit more progress on this more often.
Oh and of course I did get my motorcycle lisence.
If it came with blinkers from the factory it needs them reguradless the year
Well at least what I was told with the last bike I helped build by a nys DMV inspector inspector
Who’s gonna know?
i would just be nervous about getting it inspected
